Berkeley Professor Ratings Add-on for Chrome
Berkeley Professor Ratings is a free add-on for the Chrome browser developed by Waterstar1. This add-on aims to improve the schedule-planning experience for students at UC Berkeley. By adding useful information to the Berkeley Class Schedule website, it minimizes the need for multiple tabs and switching between them.
With Berkeley Professor Ratings, users can easily access Rate My Professor ratings for their courses. These ratings include the Overall Rating, Level of Difficulty, and Number of Reviews. This allows students to get a better understanding of the professors teaching their courses and make informed decisions when planning their schedules.
Additionally, when hovering over the "Grades!" section, users can view course grade distributions and average GPAs pulled from the Berkeley Time Website. This feature provides valuable insights into the grading patterns of different courses, helping students choose the ones that align with their academic goals.
It's worth noting that if a course has multiple listed professors, the ratings will be displayed on separate lines in the order the professors are listed on the web page. In cases where course grade data for a specific professor is unavailable, the add-on will display overall course data. If no course grade data can be found, the popup won't display any information.
Berkeley Professor Ratings is a handy tool for UC Berkeley students who want to streamline their schedule planning process and make well-informed decisions based on professor ratings and course grade distributions.
